Don Cellini/ Compilación : Otras Voces/ La Casa Que Soy

Pick Up
a stone.
The ones
found

on the beach
are best,
the ones
nearly worn

flat and smooth.
Rub it

like silk
between

your fingers.
Feel one

thousand years
of waves

flow into
your hand.

Feel the
alleluia in

your palm,
the hosanna

in your arm.
Inhale the a-men,

a.men,
a-men
of the ocean.
Now theow

the stone
intothe sea.

Give it back.
Let the ocean.

finish what
it started.

Stone.
