UN solemne mutismo
se adueña de todo. La luz
me conduce a las puertas
del Paraíso.
En la redonda ilusión de las olas
me entrego
al deseo del alma,
un piélago de infinitos.
No sé su precio ni me importa,
solo quiero apretar estos segundos
que recuerdan el instante después
de la creación.

In the round illusion of the waves
I surrender
to the desire of the soul,
a sea of infinities.
I don't know its price, nor do I care,
I just want to squeeze these seconds
that remember the instant after
reation.

DESDE este rincón del alma,
busco el sigilo de las cosas,
la forma de desnudar
la vehemencia del lenguaje.

the way to undress

A mi hijo Rodrigo.
AL verte quiebro en mí
el horizonte del tiempo,
la línea del ecuador vital.
Mientras creces,
aprecio tu sorpresa
al preguntar con abundancia.
Saboreo el momento
en que los versos se transforman
en voces que te nombran.
Abrazo el azul de tu silencio,
el anhelo de tu risa,
el eco de lo eterno en ti.
En este tiempo de vendimias
escribo, interpretando con metáforas,
la muerte y el tiempo.

In this time of grape harvests
I write, interpreting with metaphors,
